For readers

Content notice.

We publish across a wide range — from open-door romance to clean, faith-based fiction. This page helps you choose your next read with confidence.

Adult fiction lines

Written for readers 18 and older.

Titles published under our adult fiction bylines — including Della Rowan, E. V. Sable, Brooke Bisset, Ian King, and Jane Hemingway — are intended for adult readers. Depending on the title, these books may contain:

Explicit, open-door sexual content
Strong language
Mature and dark themes, which may include coercion, power imbalance, workplace or institutional retaliation, threats, and violence
Emotionally intense situations and morally complex characters

The presence and intensity of these elements vary from title to title and byline to byline. Our darker romance and romantasy lines — such as the Blood Court of Ashera and the Cavell Deal — sit at the higher end of this range; our historical romance sits lower.

Clean & family lines

Not everything here is for adults only.

Our clean contemporary romance (Maggie Pennywell), clean Amish romance (Rebecca Stoltzfus Beiler), and biblical fiction (Caleb Maren) contain no explicit content or strong language. Titles for young readers are written specifically for that audience.
